The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee Report to the Community

The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee’s annual report is essential for the organization to communicate with its donors and the community. A lot of care is put into reflecting on the year and identifying important milestones. Each story and feature tells the larger story of CFMT's work.

This annual report was an opportunity to use one of my favorite techniques: combining illustration and collage to tell the story and add more depth to a design.

Original watercolor and collage elements are combined with stock illustration and staff photography to create a unique design. The goal was to create a bright, friendly piece. This approach to illustration gave plenty of movement and helped break up a lot of information into highlighted segments.
